New Board of Directors appointed at AGM
Thu, December 8, 2011 Thank you to all the members and their guests who joined us to celebrate at the annual general meeting as the Coast Community Builders Association brings to a close another successful year. Special thank you to Jackie and her staff at the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club for a wonderful meal and thank you to event sponsors, Gibsons Building Supplies, RONA and Sunshine Coast Home Building Centre for donating prizes and cash to help offset the cost of this event. The 'tool party' was enjoyed by all whether they won a prize or not. Details regarding the business portion of the meeting are available under the "Past Meetings" tab where you will find the power point presentation provided by Greg Latham. Thank you to Greg for his behind the scenes work, presentation and guiding us through the business end of the meeting. I am happy to announce we have filled the Board of Directors with a balanced group of members from Gibsons to Madeira Park; some new to the position and a few veteran members to round out the group.
We say goodbye to 4 board members who stepped down this year, thank you to Chris Moore, Darnelda Siegers, Kim Liptak and Garth McKeil for their work and dedication to this organization. Fortunately for us these members have chosen to stay on as general members and they will continue to help out from the sidelines.
