To all GVHBA members:
Attached is a memo from CHBA National President Victor Fiume commenting on a response (also attached) to a recent report released by the Conference Board of Canada. The report accuses our industry of ignoring the need for affordable housing, then states that most developers tend to focus on building homes for high-income earners. What hogwash! The response to the report was published in the National Post newspaper (also attached). And, by the way, the development industry was not consulted by the Conference Board of Canada when it was compiling data for its report.
